The Transfer Beach spray park brings water play to one of Ladysmith’s favourite waterfront parks. Built in the town’s centennial era, it remains a summer destination for kids and families.

Kin Park playground
A major playground project at Kin Park earned national recognition from Kin Canada for service. The original wooden structure was a proud club legacy.
Legacy: the Town of Ladysmith’s 2026 Brown Drive playground replacement continues that legacy for the community that grew up with the old Kin Park build.
Downtown washrooms
Accessible public washrooms in downtown Ladysmith opened in 2021. The project received the BC District Governor’s Service Shield in 2022.
Festival of Lights building / shelter
A community building and shelter at Transfer Beach that supports the Festival of Lights and everyday park use— another lasting investment in public space.
Ongoing support
Beyond major builds, the club backs education, youth sport, and community facilities.
Bursaries
Over roughly 20 years, Ladysmith Kinsmen have provided more than $60,000 in bursaries to support local students.
Scoreboard
Support for community sports facilities, including scoreboard contributions that help local athletics.
Youth sports
Ongoing support for youth sports in Ladysmith—helping kids get on the field and stay active.
